Conductor Xian Zhang leads the LA Phil in the stirring Overture from Wagner's Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, and Karen Gomyo solos in the crowd-pleasing Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1, before a finale of Schumann's "Spring" Symphony, "a buoyant farewell to spring with its brass fanfare, zippy scherzo, and tender harmonies."
