Music has the power to heal, and right now, young musicians in Los Angeles need our help. Classical California KUSC is teaming up with the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation for an Instrument Drive—helping students and schools rebuild after the devastating wildfires
If you have a gently used, playable instrument, please donate! Your gift could restore the joy of music to a child who lost everything. Together, we can bring music back where it belongs.
Please note that we cannot accept acoustic pianos, accordions, banjos or other types of instruments that are not typically taught in a K-12 public school setting.
Drop off your instrument Friday, February 21st and February 28th or Saturday, February 22nd and March 1st from 10 AM to 2 PM at: 1150 Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA, 90015. Please pull your car into the valet section and a KUSC representative or host will be in the lobby to collect the instrument(s).
Donations are tax deductible, complete this form for your receipt. Classical California KUSC and MHOF are not responsible for the valuation of instruments and professional appraisal is required for instruments valued at $5,000 or more. For more information, click here.
