A Bit About Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is probably classical music’s most famous boy genius. And when you think “classical music,” the sound in your head… that’s probably Mozart. But he wasn’t a serious or uptight person! Actually, he had a habit of playing pranks and making... inappropriate jokes. He was a know-it-all. He couldn’t help it. When you can write beautiful symphonies as a teenager, the people want to know what you have to say. Mozart's music was both simple and complicated at the same time. How is that even possible? Well, you can almost always sing the tunes, but Mozart left lots of surprises underneath. His music can make you laugh, cry, or just sit there with your jaw on the floor. He loved to experiment and was a great improviser at the piano. Back in the day, he’d compete in “piano duels,” making up compositions on the spot and leaving audiences totally blown away.
