This week's Classical Californian, Lina González-Granados, is the Resident Conductor at Los Angeles Opera. This Fall, she led performances there of Gustavo Santaolalla's original score for Spanish Dracula, and in the Spring, they'll be presenting Ainadamar by Osvaldo Golijov. Her lineup of music includes works conducted by mentors and friends like Riccardo Muti and Yannick Nézet-Séguin, with some of her favorite composers, including Rachmaninoff and Verdi, as well as a unique arrangement of Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires.
