Phil Popham
Phil Popham, oboist, composer, and co-founder of the Southern California based chamber ensemble Helix Collective is our next Classical Californian. His playlist includes the Samuel Barber work that made him fall in love with the oboe, as well as several pieces that opened new musical doors for him, and crossed genres. From Antonio Vivaldi to Frank Zappa, by way of an 8-bit NES video game theme, it's a wild ride!
